How you can make a difference


HealthEquity’s services sit at the intersection of financial services, health care, and technology. This position provides guidance and consultation to HealthEquity teams on how to develop Business Continuity and Recovery plans that effectively address business readiness and remediation. This position will also act as the focal point for all corporate incident planning.


What you’ll be doing

  • Coordinate and manage all activities for cross-functional incidents.
  • Support the development and implementation of policies, standards and guidelines related to business continuity and recovery.
  • Lead and enhance HealthEquity’s business continuity and recovery program including but not limited to:
  • Design and assist in the implementation of business impact analysis (BIA) to identify recovery strategies for continuation of mission critical business functions during an incident or disaster,
  • Assist and guide the business in business continuity and recovery lifecycle planning including identification of triggers, communications, escalation thresholds, response procedures, tool management, logistical arrangements and documentation,
  • Develop and manage the testing program including exercise design, facilitation, performance evaluation and analysis,
  • Serve as an administrator of the notification software, and
  • Develop and deliver training on business continuity and recovery.
  • Monitor and report on business continuity and recovery program progress.


What you will need to be successful

  • Reasonable depth of exposure/understanding of in business continuity and recovery processes and best practices.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of demonstrated experience managing multi-functional incidents.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • PMP, CBCP or BCI certifications are highly desirable.
  • Strong executive presence and experience in managing without direct authority and the ability to influence sr. leaders, peers and front line management.
