The Business Analyst will be working in one of the fastest growing industries--Healthcare Financial Management. The position requires flexibility and creativity in gathering and interpreting information to then be translated into detailed business requirements or leveraged for process improvements. Excellent analytical skills are required, with the ability to extract, analyze and report on information gathered from internal systems, databases, and external resources. The ideal candidate will differentiate themselves by having excellent technical skills and proficiency as well as an innate commitment to service excellence in combination with extraordinary people skills.  



What you’ll be doing

  • Supports health account (HSAs, HRAs, FSAs, LPFSAs, etc.) and a cross-functional service delivery team (client servicing, claims processing, QA and operations)
  • Represents service delivery throughout the development lifecycle, including:
    • Gathering requirements and acceptance criteria for top opportunities
    • Participating in SCRUM cadence meetings to support the team’s delivery and ensure designed solution is tracking to meet acceptance criteria
    • Conduct user acceptance testing of the final solution
    • Document solutions to enable training, process development, and service delivery
    • Support operational and market release readiness activities
    • Define and track success measurements
    • Continual communication and stakeholder management
  • Manages defect verification, reporting, prioritization, tracking, and testing for service delivery teams
  • Helps scale our platforms to support a growing business by identifying risks and opportunities and corresponding solutions
  • Identifies and documents system deficiencies and recommends solutions
  • Supports monitoring and remediation of potential customer-impacting issues



What you will need to be successful

  • BA/BS degree required
  • 2+ years’ experience as a business analyst—gathering requirements, conducting user acceptance testing, or creating business cases
  • Proven ability to advance an operational unit’s strategic direction through identification of risk/opportunity and contributing to the corresponding mitigation/solution
  • Highly adaptable, with the ability to rapidly assimilate new information and self-direct in the identification of team, system, and project implications
  • Proficient in Excel, Visio, and other basic programs/tools with exposure to business intelligence (T-SQL,Tableau) and software development tools (TFS/Jira)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a critical eye for detail
  • An understanding of healthcare financial accounts (HSA, HRA, and FSA) and healthcare insurance is highly desirable
