How you can make a difference

In Operations you make the difference for our Members. In this position you will be responsible for distribution of documents in our Document Management System, Handling incoming documents, Routing, Transfers, CIP & OFAC, HSA enrollment, and other ancillary tasks. You will be responsible to work in queues to help us meet our SLA requirements. Success in this position requires an ability to perform at a high level: efficient, effective, and accurate results independent of volume, ability to assist others, and self-motivated


It will be beneficial to have an understanding of IRS regulations related to contribution eligibility, annual limits and tax implications as well as familiarity with all types of deposits applicable to healthcare accounts. It is your responsibility to ensure that each process is covered and completed within the expected time frame. 

In addition to ensuring that the daily operational work is accomplished, you must be able to identify where improvement is needed in system and processes. Assisting HealthEquity to become more efficient or improve quality in daily processing is a must.


You must effectively communicate the status of daily tasks and specific tasks/projects to management and escalate critical issues as needed to ensure service levels and other deliverables are met

  • Accountable for processes involving logging incoming documents, routing items to other departments, and accuracy on check deposit process
  • Scan and route documents through our Document Management System
  • Ensure accuracy with data entry into our systems through cross referencing and comparing system data sets
  • Be able to multitask with multiple systems on high volume day to days
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Accountable for processes involving the CIP, OFAC, transfer, and enrollment requests.
  • Assists in resolution of escalated queues that are related to referenced processes. 
  • Provides input and content for enhancements to systems and processes
  • Performs quality assurance and ensures processing standards are within SLA and audit requirements



What you will need to be successful

  • Must be able to work during business hours (M-F: 9am - 5pm MST)
  • 2 years previous experience in a professional office environment required
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
  • Highly motivated team player that is able to multitask through different systems
  • Previous experience in healthcare account administration a plus
  • Experience with clerical processing preferred
  • Accurate data entry / processing skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong Organization skills
  • Ability to work in a diverse, high volume, and sometimes stressful environment
  • A strong working knowledge of healthcare accounts with a focus on Health Savings Accounts
  • Experience with transaction processing preferred
  • Experience in a customer oriented, client facing position
  • Ability to professionally represent HealthEquity while working directly with employer groups and members
  • Analytical mindset with ability to multitask and effectively contribute to multiple tasks
  • Ability to convey data in an effective and presentable manner through electronic, print and verbal communication.
  • Strong ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and proficiency.
