HealthEquity is seeking to fill a Manager level role in its investment advisory services department.  This position reports to the VP of Investments & Advisory Services and will be responsible for overseeing the functions that design, maintain, communicate, and deliver investment products, services, education and support.  This role requires considerable attention to detail as well as the ability to productively work on cross-functional teams.  The ideal candidate will be analytically minded, multi-tasking, proactive, and compliance-focused.  A comprehensive understanding of Health Savings Accounts, mutual fund investment analysis, and investment/advisory fiduciary roles are a must. 

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Ongoing investment analysis and auditing of investment offerings and operations.
  • Drafting of investment reports for accountholders, partners and management.
  • Ongoing compliance tasks as directed by CCO, including drafting of internal procedures that test and reinforce existing policies.
  • Prepare for and present investment reports in quarterly investment committee meetings.
  • Troubleshoot investment systems issues and work with Product & Engineering teams in improving user experiences.
  • Provide frequent support on escalated Member Services issues related to investments and Advisor tool.
  • Create written resource tools that educate member services department and provide them with the investment answers they need.

 

What you will need to be successful

  • Degree in Finance or related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in investment management, operations, or analysis.
  • Experience performing and communicating detailed investment analysis.
  • Investment Advisor licensing (IAR) and experience working in an RIA a strong plus.
  • Comprehensive understanding of investment fiduciary roles and responsibilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of HSAs, mutual fund investments, asset custody, and advisory services.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal. Strong quantitative and organizational skills.
