How you can make a difference


We are looking for a passionate Sr. Network Engineer to join our IT department in Draper, Utah. You will be responsible for the direct implementation, troubleshooting and management of LAN/WAN infrastructure for data centers, branch offices and corporate sites. You will be responsible for the strategic design and tactical operation and maintenance of all network infrastructure. This position requires excellent technical skills and proven attention to detail, process, and discipline within a production environment.


What you’ll be doing


  • Perform day-to-day operational support of a complex, “non-standard” network infrastructure
  • Provide 24x7 on call support on a rotating basis; after-hours and weekend work as required
  • Troubleshoot and replace network equipment as required
  • Become a trusted member of the IT team through networking skills and complete follow-through with the task at hand.
  • Monitor network utilization/capacity with related tools
  • Extensive hands-on technical experience configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches


What you will need to be successful


  • 6+ years related work experience
  • 3+ years of wireless configuration experience
  • CCNP level skill set required (CCIE highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of both MPLS and IPSec with in depth experience managing multiple sites across the nation
  • Experience with Cisco Nexus platforms and PaloAlto firewalls HIGHLY DESIREABLE
  • Extensive hands-on technical experience configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches
  • Experience with maintaining network infrastructure in a high availability 24/7/365 production environment
  • Ability to support a various types of networks (Voice, storage, etc.)
  • Experience configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting various routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF
  • Troubleshoot and replace network equipment as required (some travel is expected)
  • Ability to lead infrastructure performance diagnosis and scalability assessment activities
  • Experience with current best practices in IT standards, principles (ITIL), and security practices
  • Excellent technical documentation skills
