How you can make a difference

We are looking for a service-oriented, self-starter to join the new HealthEquity Retirement team, which adds a 401(k) plan offering to the HealthEquity suite of products. The combination of the 401(k) and HSA provides more effective and tax-efficient retirement planning strategies for consumers. We provide a solution for employers to offer a 401(k) plan that costs less and reduces work while providing a remarkable client experience.

By delivering first-class service, the Service Manager will make it easier than ever for a small business to set up, maintain, and manage a 401(k) plan so that employees can retire with a greater degree of financial security. The Service Manager will also be instrumental in evangelizing the vision of health and wealth with existing clients and participants.  


What you will be doing

The Service Manager is responsible for many day-to-day activities involved with the setup and service of qualified retirement plans. In your role, you will:

  • Manage and coordinate new plan implementations and plan conversions including plan design, payroll coordination, technical integration, and asset transfer
  • Build client loyalty by delivering excellent service to employers by phone, email, and occasionally in person
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers for task completion or issue resolution often relating to such areas as payroll, compliance, and participation
  • Identify and implement potential improvements in processes to enhance the employer or participant experience
  • Provide enrollment support and coordination via webinar, or in person when possible
  • Serve as a backup resource for relationship managers and other service managers

What you will need to be successful

The ideal candidate for the Service Manager role will possess:

  • 2+ years servicing experience related to employer benefits, especially HSA or 401(k)
  • Developed level of financial literacy including markets, investments, and products
  • Microsoft Office experience including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to efficiently manage several tasks and competing priorities
  • Advanced interpersonal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow processes
  • Strong customer service focus and work ethic
