How you can make a difference


We are looking for a passionate, collaborative and driven IT Manager to join our team in Draper, Utah. You will manage a talented team of Network Engineers, VOIP Engineers and an Incident Manager. You will focus on the overall strategy and vision of HealthEquity’s Information Technology department.  They will be correlating issues to lines of business in an effort to provide better support.


What you’ll be doing

  • Providing leadership to and mentoring team members
  • Overseeing the vision and processes of Incident, Problem and Change Management
  • Partnering with business entities to ensure OLAs and SLAs are negotiated and communicated
  • Ensuring all high priority incidents are driven to a resolution and that root causes are identified, communicated.
  • Overseeing and managing the Disaster Recovery process and documentation
  • Identifying and analyzing business requirements to integrate solutions to align with the overall vision of HealthEquity
  • Providing a strategic view of LAN/WAN infrastructure for HealthEquity’s mission critical infrastructure in a 24/7/365 environment.
  • Developing and maintaining standards and documentation
  • Participate in 7x24 on-call rotation and maintenance windows


What you will need to be successful

  • 5+ years’ experience in leading technology team(s)
  • ITIL-centric technology experience
  • Experience with current best practices in IT standards, principles, and security practices
  • Superior ability to converse with multiple customers of varying technical skill and knowledge.
  • Understanding of audit processes specifically with SOC and SOX
  • Knowledge of both MPLS and IPSec with ability to manage multiple sites
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Experience with functional and technical requirements gathering and solution development
  • Broad knowledge of various technology architectures how they correlate with each other and the business
