How you can make a difference

 

We are looking for a passionate, collaborative and driven Information Security Analyst to join our team in Draper, Utah. You will be responsible for user access reviews, and vulnerability monitoring and mitigation support. This position primarily deals with security vulnerabilities and risk mitigation.  It will also play a key role in the development, updating and maintenance of IT security processes and procedures. Primary responsibilities may vary based on current security risk considerations and project commitments of the team.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Coordinate and perform regular user access reviews (UARs) to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Help develop and maintain configuration documentation of all IT security solutions including by not limited to: Patch and Vulnerability Management, Endpoint Protection, Firewall Management, etc.
  • Participate in the creation of IT security documents (processes and procedures).
  • Maintain up-to-date general knowledge of the IT security industry, including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes, and the development of new attacks and threat vectors.
  • Support the development of an IT security metrics program.
  • Assist with IT security project management initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process and technical improvement.

What you will need to be successful

  • Thorough understanding of Information Security policies and procedures
  • Very strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively.
  • Innovative problem solving, research and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to complete workloads in a timely manner.
  • Experience with compliance areas such as HIPAA and SOC
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Natural collaborator with peers to achieve the mission of the team.
