The Operations Quality specialist will be responsible for overseeing the quality initiatives of Health Equity’s Operations department. These responsibilities include calibrating quality scoring to customer satisfaction across a group of department leaders. Additionally, this person will pull, review, and report on transactional information regularly. To succeed in this position the specialist would materially increase customer satisfaction and specialist performance through quality initiatives.


A successful candidate will have proven track record of great attention to detail and ability to stay two steps ahead on a project tasks and timeline. The applicant will be required to manage multiple tasks at once. The combination of technical know-how interpersonal communication, leadership skills, a strong sense of initiative and drive to get the job done well be critical to success of this role.


It will be beneficial to have an understanding of the IRS regulations related to contributions eligibility, annual limits and tax implications as well as familiarity with all types of deposits applicable to healthcare accounts.


What you’ll be doing


  • Conduct weekly calibration meetings with department leaders
  • Review and report large amounts of data completed by the team to identify gaps and training needs.
  • Implement and revise quality program on specific operational tasks
  • Pull transactional information and review them based on client requests
  • Meet with team leaders and individual specialists regularly to provide and guide performance coaching.
  • Identify where improvement is need in system, processes and people.
  • Perform ad hoc quality projects based on department needs

  • Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong working knowledge of healthcare accounts experience with Clerical processing preferred.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and sometime stressful environment.
