How you can make a difference 

 

The individual in this role will be responsible for creating and delivering training for HealthEquity’s sales organization. We are excited to meet with the right person who has a background in Education and Sales.

 

This is an exciting, newly created position. The Sales Trainer will be a valuable member of our Corporate Learning and Development team. You’ll have the opportunity to interface with executives and directors across the organization. The successful candidate will have strong presentation skills, technical skills, and project and relationship management experience.

 

You’ll be responsible for developing a training and development solution for the sales team and then driving the rollout and tracking of that solution.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Present training material in-person, online, and via webinar/phone.
  • Develop and maintain a sales training program.
  • Partner with SMEs to ensure the training content is accurate and relevant.
  • Build training content such as PowerPoint presentations, handouts, assessments, etc. this will include partnering with designers and developers to create branded online and classroom based materials.
  • Research external training possibilities and work with a coordinator to schedule appropriate training programs.
  • Meet with Sales leaders to assess the success of the plan and report on the plan’s performance.
  • Up to 50% travel required for this role

What you will need to be successful

  • Cross-functional relationship management skills
  • Experience working with executive sponsors, management teams, and end-users.
  • Familiarity with HealthEquity sales processes and programs a plus, for this reason we will favor internal candidates.
  • Project Management expertise to develop a short-term and long-term plan for delivering training and education to our sales team.
  • Practical sales experience, preferably with a proven track record.
  • Excellent Technical Writing and Editing skills.
