This position is responsible for leading a team of Service Coordinators who support our client relationships. The position requires teamwork and communication skills. The Service Coordinator Team Lead will guide their team in maintaining a service first culture. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of HealthEquity systems, processes, and products associated with client solutions.


This role requires the candidate to empower team members to solve problems and have the ability to stay ahead on tasks and timelines. The candidate will also have experience leading teams or projects. The applicant will be required to manage multiple responsibilities. The combination of technical skills, interpersonal communication, personal initiative, and a drive to support and develop team members are critical to the applicant’s success.

 

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Guide team members to document client processes and activities
  • Hold regular team meetings to provide training and information
  • Conduct regular 1 on 1 meetings with each team member – at least monthly
  • Ensure team members meet established SLAs for all tasks and queues
  • Identify and implement potential improvements in managed processes to enhance the client experience
  • Serve as a backup for the Service Coordinators
  • Receive and manage escalations on behalf of Service Coordinators
  • Execute hiring, onboarding and training, assignment, and team member development activities
  • Use established templates to document and manage all job related processes
  • Monitor and manage quality and efficiency of team member work
  • Organize team member workload to ensure capacity is effectively managed
  • Assist in managing time tracking goals and metrics
  • Manage access requests, time off policies, team member goals, and other HR responsibilities
  • Promote a positive and professional work environment
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

 

What you will need to be successful

 

 

  • 2+ years operational or servicing experience in the consumer-driven health care industry
  • Microsoft Office experience: strong with Excel, Word, and Outlook; Visio a plus
  • Experience with process documentation and maintenance
  • Ability to manage several tasks and competing priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Self-starter and self-motivator
  • Ability to lead projects and timelines
  • Ability to resolve conflict
  • Ability to work well on a cross functional team
  • Ability to handle and work with ambiguous instructions
  • Ability to effectively manage and mentor direct reports
  • Knowledge of HealthEquity systems
