How you can make a difference 

 

HealthEquity is looking for a strong leader who is analytical, people oriented and a self-starter to join the RA Claims leadership team. This position will be primarily allocated to managing our RA Claims team. They will also be responsible for scaling the RA Claims team through coordinated training, being a mentor to team members and standardizing the tools and processes used by the team.

A successful applicant will have a proven track record of great attention to detail and the ability to stay two steps ahead on project tasks and timelines. The applicant will be required to manage multiple tasks at once. The combination of technical know-how, interpersonal communication, leadership skills, a strong sense of initiative and drive to get the job done well will be critical to the applicant’s success.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Leadership responsibilities including:
    • Workload Management
    • Process Improvement
    • Creation of new processes
    • Cross-functional team representation
    • Advocate for team members
    • Mentoring team members
    • Hold regular one-on-one meeting with the claims leadership team
    • Set goals for and measure performance of team members
  • Responsible for improving efficiencies with the team by:
    • Creating collaborative workflows
    • Identifying efficiencies in processes
    • Creation of new processes
    • Working with a cross functional team to establish new business rules as legislation changes
    • Ensuring process documentation and business rules are kept up to date
  • Serve as an escalation point for team needs and claim related tasks

 

What you will need to be successful

 

 

  1. Ability to manage to both processing and quality SLAs
  2. Ability to identify and implement process improvements which benefit our clients as well as the cross functional and direct team
  3. Previous experience with leading a team of individuals is a must
  1. Strong leadership experience
  1. A willingness to go above and beyond for our Clients
  2. Previous experience with account based plan administration
  3. Strong attention to detail
  4. Strong self-starter and self–motivator
  5. Ability to work well on cross functional team
  6. A willingness to go above and beyond to support the team’s success
  7. Exceptional ability to build trust and rapport with a team and fully meet their needs
  8. Able to acquire the expertise, knowledge and information to effectively solve issues
  1. Hands on experience with claims processing, a plus
  2. Bachelor’s degree and/or 4 + years related experience
