Who we want to join our team


Our Front Desk Team of Receptionists is the first interaction our clients, members, vendors, job applicants and other callers and visitors experience. We are looking for an outstanding individual to join this team of rock star Receptionists in supporting all aspects of Front Desk management.


It is important to us that everyone who calls and visits HealthEquity has a wonderful experience, and the Front Desk has the responsibility of ensuring this journey gets off to a great start. This person must embrace our company’s purple culture and handle every phone and personal interaction with professionalism and accuracy. We are seeking a mature, responsible, proactive, self-motivated, friendly individual who loves working with people and wants to help build a first-class image for HealthEquity.

This position needs coverage during normal business hours – preferably Monday through Friday, 9am to 5:30pm. The successful candidate must be able to adhere to a consistent and dependable schedule during this time period.


What you’ll be doing

  • Present a pleasant, friendly, professional, business-like image for the company and must work effectively with people while representing the company on the phone and in person
  • Manage inbound phone interactions with successful routing of calls and messages
  • Greet and direct vendors, customers, job applicants and other visitors
  • Manage inbound/outbound mail and shipments
  • Maintain appropriate inventory of office supplies
  • Accurately maintain sign-in and log out of visitors and guest badges
  • Build a strong working relationship with vendors to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  • Track and submit receipts timely for all transactions to our friendly Finance Team weekly
  • Manage catering orders company-wide involving receiving, placing, and tracking lunch orders daily


What you’ll bring to the table

  • High school diploma or higher education
  • 2+ years’ experience as a receptionist in a professional, corporate setting
  • Proven ability to handle stress and work under pressure
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Self-starter, organized, able to follow written and verbal instructions; able to solve routine problems while maintaining confidentiality
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Proven record of dependability
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Team player (works well with others) and an ability to take direction
  • Cross-functional work experience
  • Self-sufficient and self-starter who looks to constantly challenge the status quo
  • Proactive by nature
