    How you can make a difference

    Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, and working closely with HealthEquity’s  C-Suite, Sales and Operational leadership teams, the Director of Marketing Analytics will develop and deploy market-facing analytical insights and impactful, ongoing competitive intelligence.

     

    On a day-to-day basis, the Director will work with the senior Marketing and Sales team to develop and productize strategic thought leadership content that can be incorporated into customer-facing analytical sales and marketing tools.  Once these capabilities are developed, the Director will have the opportunity to build and nurture a strong, highly responsive, cross-functional Market and Competitive Intelligence team.   The initial focus of this team will be in scaling the development and deployment of productized commercial insight content across the market overall, via ongoing B2B2C/B2C customer engagement and embedded within inbound/outbound digital marketing campaigns to prospective customers, partners and accountholders.

     

    What you’ll be doing

    The Director must have a strong blend of strategy, analytical and research rigor, and prior client facing and management experience.   Within this highly dynamic and fast-paced environment, this individual will be responsible for:

    • Building analytical tools and content
    • Nurturing a growth mindset culture of ‘test & learn;
    • Driving useful insights that will change the way we go to market, with imperfect data
    • Systematically assessing the effectiveness of our offering by channel
    • Analyzing competitors’ market positioning and then packaging and communicating key insights and leverage points to HealthEquity’s sales and marketing teams;
    • Synthesizing and communicating these insights across multi-channel engagement of employers, partner and HSA accountholder; and
    • Segmenting HealthEquity’s customer and accountholder base to enable more effective, insightful, and, ultimately, transformational Total Engagement strategies.

     

    While carrying out these duties, this position will have the opportunity to develop and contribute to strategy growth initiatives, present findings and share insights with business leaders throughout the organization including HealthEquity’s C-Suite, Finance, Operations, Marketing and Sales functions.

     

    What you will need to be successful

    • Minimum 10 years analytical and marketing experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Applied Mathematics / Statistics / Economics / Business or Marketing; MBA or MS highly preferred
    • Strong written, compelling interpersonal communications and customer-facing presentation skills with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas across multiple functions and levels internally and externally
    • Experience initially executing and then building/managing a team of analysts
    • Experience measuring digital marketing and customer engagement performance.
    • Problem-solving, growth mindset with the ability to thrive in a highly visible role within a fast-paced yet supportive, team-oriented environment
    • Hands-on experience with advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel/database skills
    • Past experience working in management consulting, marketing analytics or decision support functions is very highly desirable
    • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms is highly preferred
    • Experience with Tableau and/or other statistical and data visualization tools is desirable
    • Experience in predictive modeling is desirable
    • Work experience in either financial services or healthcare is desirable
