    This position reports to the Trust Team Lead and will be responsible for safe-guarding custodial funds through bank reconciliation, process documentation, continuous improvement, and participation in periodic audits as well as payroll processing responsibilities. Successful candidates will be detail oriented, able to learn quickly, and able to adapt to change. The ability to productively work on cross-functional teams is also a must. Successful candidates will also have the ability to use continuous improvement in accounting process flow creation and documentation.     What you’ll be doing

    • Work through daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliation processes
    • Prepare necessary reports and data for periodic audits
    • Participate in month-end close as it relates to custodial assets
    • Responsible for full-cycle process flow for assigned bank accounts
    • Audit various operational processes as they relate to account reconciliation
    • Innovate through continuous process improvement
    • Ensure that payroll is processed timely and accurately
    • Maintain and update employee information (direct deposit and W-4 requests)
    • Coordinate 401(k) requests
    • Process garnishments
    • Process unscheduled payroll runs, including bonus checks and stock option exercises
    • Collect and summarize timekeeping information including manager approvals
    • Process year-end W-2s
    • Solve problems concerning payroll, answer inquiries and enforce payroll policies
    • Ensure compliance with payroll controls

    What you will need to be successful

    • 4-year degree in Accounting or related field preferred
    • Great attention to detail required
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
    • Technically minded
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Understanding of Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement
    • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
    • Team player (works well with others) and an ability to take direction
    • Cross-functional work experience
