    How you can make a difference 

     

    The marketing communication specialist will be required to write and deploy content across various communication channels including: email, websites, intranet, newsletters, and collateral. The marketing communication specialist will be key in deploying the editorial communication calendar and incorporating HealthEquity’s voice and brand for both internal and external audiences.

     

    This position will require extensive cross-functional collaboration. Candidates must possess strong organizational and written communication skills as you will represent the company's brand through promotion of products and services and should be able to write creatively, as well as technically. You will be responsible for communicating to all HealthEquity’s customer types: health plan partners, brokers, employers, and individual members and internal HealthEquity team members to provide education and to drive processes

     

    What you’ll be doing

    • Create a clear voice with captivating content that expresses HealthEquity’s brand and culture.
    • Create copy for marketing communications and campaigns including: emails, collateral, website copy, video scripts and internal operational messages.
    • Collaborate with other departments to develop communications based on HealthEquity’s clients’ needs.
    • Create and deploy email campaigns through various communication channels.
    • Evaluate internal and external communication plans and recommend changes to content or strategy as appropriate. 
    • Analyze email delivery statistics to develop and increase engagement strategies.
    • Copy, edit, proofread, and revise communications.
    • Build and manage email templates, as needed. (No coding experience is required)
    • Apply marketing and communication best practices.
    • Manage and deploy emails sent from various communication platforms.
    • Maintain and update the HealthEquity Communications Calendar and repository of standard communications.
    • Create quarterly Bulletin articles and email content to inform brokers and clients of new products and engage current clients by providing educational opportunities to drive engagement.
    • Assist and create copy for all internal communications to ensure adherence to brand and style guidelines. 

    What you will need to be successful

    • Bachelor's degree in English, communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or other relevant degrees.
    • Excellent writing skills/experience and attention to detail is a must.
    • 1-2 years proven experience with writing and editing in a formal capacity (healthcare or financial industries preferred).
    • B2C or B2B marketing experience strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated skills to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously.
    • Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent verbal and written communication, project management and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Must have the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
    • Must be proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel.
