    How you can make a difference


    The Document Processing Team is the front line of defense for HealthEquity. We are responsible for processes related to the distribution of documents throughout the company using our Document Management System and handling of physical incoming documents.


    Document Processing Specialists will perform key, daily transactional operations such as opening and logging items received, importing data into internal systems, routing documents using our Document Management System to multiple departments, assisting with quality assurance and other ancillary tasks.

    It will be beneficial to have an understanding of IRS regulations related to contribution eligibility, annual limits and tax implications as well as familiarity with all types of deposits applicable to healthcare accounts. It is your responsibility to ensure that each process is covered and completed within the expected time frame. 

    In addition to ensuring that the daily operational work is accomplished, you must be able to identify where improvement is needed in system and processes. Assisting HealthEquity to become more efficient or improve quality in daily processing is a must.


    You must effectively communicate the status of daily tasks and specific tasks/projects to management and escalate critical issues as needed to ensure service levels and other deliverables are met

    • Accountable for processes involving logging incoming documents, routing items to other departments, and accuracy on check deposit process
    • Process incoming mail documents from members, companies and partners
    • Scan and route documents through our Document Management System
    • Ensure accuracy with data entry into our systems through cross referencing and comparing system data sets
    • Be able to multitask with multiple systems on high volume day to days
    • Other duties as assigned 

    What you will need to be successful


    • Must be able to work during business hours (M: 9am - 6pm, T-F: 8:30am – 4:30pm MST)
    • 2 years previous experience in a professional office environment required
    • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
    • Highly motivated team player that is able to multitask through different systems
    • Previous experience in healthcare account administration a plus
    • Experience with clerical processing preferred
    • Accurate data entry / processing skills
    • Strong time management skills
    • Strong Organization skills
    • Ability to work in a diverse, high volume, and sometimes stressful environment
