How you can make a difference
The Reimbursement Account Claims Team Lead is responsible to manage the daily claims processing and escalations of reimbursement healthcare accounts (HRA/.FSA). This includes claims processing, appeals, escalations, adjustments and other ad hoc tasks. The successful leader will need to have an understanding of IRS regulations related to eligible healthcare expenses. You will manage a team of ~10 individuals whose responsibilities are distributed in a cross functional manner. The leader will ensure that each process is covered and completed within the expected time frame. In addition to making sure that all claims processing is handled within our current service level agreements, you must be able to identify areas of improvement to the system and the processes, consistently being aware of how HealthEquity can become more efficient in daily processing is a must.
The successful candidate will effectively communicate the status of specific tasks/projects to management and escalate critical issues as needed to ensure project parameters are met. Direct the daily workflow among team members, provide training and development support of less experienced staff, and provide performance feedback to team members.
