    The Director of Decision Support Analytics will lead a team to support company operations and help centralize data and decision making for executive leadership (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technology and Product). Coordinates with all business functions to identify potential opportunities to facilitate organizational improvement and success. Drive results by understanding complex business challenges, developing hypothesis, and measuring results while receiving continuous feedback from business partners. This position will lead HealthEquity’s transition to a mature data-driven organization by leveraging analytic techniques and data visualization. This person will be a key member of the Finance team and work closely with the Director of Decision Support FP&A to convert data into actionable insights specifically identifying revenue enhancement and cost efficiency opportunities. This position will report directly to the SVP of Finance who leads reporting and analytics.

     

    What you’ll be doing 

    • Identifies issues and ideas to be investigated as well as the approach (methodological and technical) to be used in addressing projects and studies
    • Develops processes for data-driven departmental/business decisions and demonstrates delivery against the business’s overall objectives
    • Develop and maintain analytical models, tools, and ad hoc analysis to support the organizations efforts to allocate resources efficiently
    • Understands that information and data are key business assets and operationalizes the application of data and information to deliver optimal performance
    • Provides management visibility into data-driven insights that inform and align with the business’s strategic direction
    • Develops and fosters working relationships with internal business partners to
    • facilitate productive exchanges of information
    • Assures timely and accurate completion of work reprioritizing activities when necessary
    • Trains team members on new practices and promotes professional development

    What you will need to be successful

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or equivalent (Masters a plus)
    • 5 to 9 years of business/operational experience
    • Strong Excel, business intelligence tools and PowerPoint skills
    • Proven track record of analytical and organizational skills
    • Strong work ethic and ability to adapt in a fast-paced organization
    • Customer-centric approach to collaboratively work with varying personalities
    • A record of personal and business ethics appropriate for a high-visibility public company with a culture of integrity
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
