    The Data Analyst role is a highly integral part of the Corporate Reporting & Analysis team. Must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Product Development, Engineering and Finance Leadership, and should be adept in translating business information into actionable decision support. A proven ability to drive business results with data-based insights.  Assists in the areas of protocol development, study design, analysis plan, sample size/ power calculations, and interpretation of study data.


    What you’ll be doing

    • Applies statistical methods to drive new/original statistical insight.
    • Uses appropriate analytic methods to research a loosely defined problem or hypothesis.
    • Creates analysis and reporting used to promote evidence-based decision-making.
    • Reviews analyses for data validity, appropriateness of model selection, limitations of results, and valid interpretation of results.
    • See through the data and analyze it to find conclusions.
    • Work with business partners to collect data and provide meaningful analysis
    • Convey complex ideas using graphs charts and data to aid decision making
    • Work closely with business users to ensure that their needs and those of our partners, employers and members are being met
    • Validate reports match known sources of truth for consistency
    • Answer ad-hoc analytic questions
    • Apply statistics-based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations and predictions

    What you will need to be successful

    • B.S. degree or higher in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other quantitative field.
    • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
    • 3 + years minimum of related statistics/data analysis experience: Manipulating data sets and delivering sustainable statistical models.
    • Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
    • Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders; Power BI, Tableau etc.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; operates well in cross-functional teams
