    HealthEquity is seeking a Senior Marketing Analyst to join the HealthEquity Marketing team. This person will be the principal driving force to deliver insightful, actionable, and timely intelligence to enable profitable growth and enhance corporate business strategy at HealthEquity. 

     

    The ideal candidate will primarily focus on building our marketing analytics reporting package to tell the story of marketing performance internally and to drive better decision making and marketing effectiveness going forward. Additionally, the candidate will help refine our customer segmentation models and the corresponding journey maps for each segment. Lastly, it is expected that the candidate will become an expert in the HSA landscape and our competitor’s products enabling HealthEquity to better position our offering to members, clients, partners, investors, etc.

     

    What you’ll be doing

    • Develop, manage and use tools for measuring the success of digital marketing programs
    • Review, analyze and share qualitative and quantitative analysis
    • Build and manage predictive models
    • Develop and manage actionable customer segmentation strategy based on demographic and behavioral data
    • Utilize data mining and other analytical techniques to gain insight into customers to improve the effectiveness of communications and products
    • Develop and refine techniques used to measure engagement, conversion and trends for marketing efforts including campaigns and ongoing programs
    • Ensure timely delivery of reporting and insights, and build user-friendly answers to basic marketing questions (e.g. executive dashboards)
    • Ongoing research and analysis of major HealthEquity competitors including all aspects of product functionality, messaging/positioning/value propositions, strengths/weaknesses, competitive tactics and pricing
    • Provide competitive analysis in support of business development, product management, product marketing, etc.

    What you will need to be successful

    • Must have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing analysis or marketing strategy
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Strategic Planning, Finance, or other related field is required
    • Ability to aggregate, standardize, interpret and model data and to work independently within a data warehouse
    • Advanced excel skills as well as familiarity with database queries and programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python and R)
    • Familiarity with visualization methods and dashboard tools (e.g. Tableau, Birst, etc.)
    • Proven ability to work with sales and marketing teams
    • Energetic, enthusiastic, tenacious self-starter and team player
    • Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous projects/deliverables to successful completion (i.e., high quality deliverables in a timely manner)
    • Strong analytical, creative thinking and research skills with ability to think tactically
    • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing
    • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
