    We’re looking for a Service Desk Technician II who has the desire, skills and passion to make a direct impact on the success of our industry-leading Health Savings Account products and services.  

     

    What you’ll be doing


    The Primary function of the Service Desk is to be the first point of contact for HealthEquity team members requiring technical assistance. Our small team of technicians are tasked with Identifying, prioritizing and cataloging incidents and requests. 

    • Respond to technical support incidents, requests in person, via email and on the phone in a friendly, professional and timely manner
    • Identify, troubleshoot and research problems, recommending solutions and escalate the issue when applicable
    • Communicate known problems/fixes to team members, submitting knowledge solutions
    • Developing IT processes/procedures 
    • Assist higher-level engineers in research of problems
    • Responsible for troubleshooting a myriad of hardware and software issues
    • Add/delete/modify user account information and documenting appropriately
    • Rotating 24/7 on-call duty required
    • Support of iPhone and Android handheld devices
    • MAC Knowledge (macOS)
    • Hardware Knowledge (A+ Certification a huge plus)
    • Eagerness to be in an IT career
    • Self-Motivated

     

     What you will need to be successful

     

    • A minimum of 3 years previous help desk /service desk experience
    • Positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a peer-oriented small team environment with minimal supervision
    • Experience using Active Directory
    • Basic Network administration and troubleshooting
    • Be comfortable in learning and tackling project utilizing unfamiliar technologies
    • iOS technical support and working knowledge preferred
    • MAC Knowledge (macOS)
    • Hardware Knowledge (A+ Certification a huge plus)
    • Eagerness to be in an IT career
    • Be an escalation for the Team, which includes being willing to jump in and help out when a clear solution is not apparent or help is needed
    • Provide documentation on processes and procedures for the Service Desk Team
    • Project work must be approved and sanctioned by Service Desk Leadership to ensure its effectiveness and benefit to the Team/HQY
    • Self-Motivated
    • Other duties assigned by Lead or IT Services Manager
