    HealthEquity Strategic Account Executives are passionate about their employer partners’ success.  As a member of the Sales Enterprise Accounts team, your role as an Account Executive is to leverage your strategic consulting and sales skills to manage and grow HealthEquity's existing Enterprise and Commercial Accounts, act as the client's advocate, increase client and account holder satisfaction, identify client needs and align those needs with HealthEquity products and services, and to serve as the primary point of contact for these select national Employer Partners. Success in the Account Executive position will be measured by client retention, revenue growth, account growth, and supporting our partners on their journey in connecting health and wealth.

     

    Account Executives are expected to fully understand each employer partner’s business and benefits framework strategy, Consumer Directed Healthcare (CDH) and Financial Well-being initiatives. To develop this comprehensive knowledge about your clients, the Enterprise Accounts Strategic Account Executive is expected to have frequent employer partner interactions at various levels of the client’s organization including senior leadership and the C-suite, as well as national consultant and brokers and health plan partner account teams.

     

    What you’ll be doing

    • Expand the number of accounts (Health Savings, Reimbursement Accounts and COBRA) and custodial assets for existing employer partners.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with your clients and their consultant/broker and other vendor partners.
    • Engage in consultative strategic activities with employer partners such as overall corporate and benefits strategies benefit plan review, CDH account adoption best practices, financial health.
    • Plan and execute regular employer partner meetings to deliver program results.
    • Develop and monitor client financial performance including renewal planning, negotiation and profitability levels.
    • Serve as the employer partner’s internal advocate. Ensure HealthEquity is delivering the service, support, and overall solution per the agreed upon terms.
    • Demonstrate marketing and technical expertise through employer partner, broker and consultant meetings.
    • Preparation for and participation in new business meetings and on-site visits (culture training, audits, etc).
    • Provide feedback to other HealthEquity business teams on market trends as represented by our clients.
    • Ability to assess the approach, resources, and contacts needed to complete RFP's.
    • Maintain a high level of healthcare industry knowledge as well as knowledge of your clients’ industry.

     

    LOCATION

    Position is Remote- East of the Mississippi (IL, IN, OH, PA, NY, VA, NC, GA)

     

    What you will need to be successful

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Proven track record of over 7+ years of working with senior-level executives for client relationship management and consultation within the Insurance or Finance industry in the Enterprise / Commercial Accounts space (4,000+ employees)
    • 7+ years of strategic and consultative selling experience within the Insurance or Finance industry
    • MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
    • Presentation Skills including messaging and positioning information to meet, and influence client need   
    • Strong working knowledge of employer benefits framework and plan design
    • Expert relationship management skills including negotiation, collaboration, and listening skills
    • Ability to work as part of a team and individually
    • Problem Solving
    • Significant travel required (50% of your time)
    • Familiarity with Health Insurance Industry and all types Health Accounts
