    We are looking for a passionate IT Change Manager to join our team in Draper, UT. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activities which support the IT change management process for scheduling, managing, controlling and communicating changes across multiple platforms. You will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing processes, and utilizing information technology infrastructure library (ITIL) best practices. You will work collaboratively and build key relationships with development/engineering teams, IT operations, the Enterprise PMO, and business stakeholders to ensure consistency of delivery, adherence to standard practices, continuous improvement, and balancing the need for IT to move quickly, efficiently, and iteratively while conforming to established control points.



    What you’ll be doing


    • Manage the end-to-end change management processes across the IT infrastructure.
    • Review all submitted requests for change (RFCs) for accuracy and completeness (e.g. type, documentation, risk assessment, etc.) and manage RFCs through review, approval, scheduling activities, and closure activities.
    • Facilitate change management meetings, which include but are not limited to CAB, change readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and go/no-go reviews.
    • Responsible for the creation and management of the IT change calendar, change freeze calendar, and outlining the schedule of changes planned throughout the year.
    • Identify and manage implementation risks and resolve issues that affect change scope, schedule, and quality. Decide which risks are acceptable and putting in place risk mitigation plans for those that are not acceptable in collaboration with other colleagues and teams as needed.
    • Ensure that Change Management key performance metrics (KPIs) are met by creating, analyzing, and reporting metrics weekly, monthly, quarterly, and on an ad-hoc basis.
    • Develop and maintain the change management policies, processes, procedures, and operational work instructions.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    What you will need to be successful


    • Degree in information technology or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
    • 5 or more years of IT experience.
    • 5 or more years of ITIL process experience (Release, Change, etc.)
    • ITIL Foundation Certification.
    • ITIL Intermediate Service Lifecycle or Release Control and Validation Capability certification a plus.
    • Experience working with Application Development, Infrastructure Operations, and Production Operations.
    • Knowledge of Quality Assurance process and procedures.
    • Excellent organization and time management skills.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Superb process and procedure writing skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, seeking direction as appropriate.
    • Proficiency with ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred).
    • Excellent business communication skills.
