    We are looking for a passionate and talented Strategic Product Manager to join our team in Draper, UT.  You will work cross functionally with technology, sales, marketing, and product development on identifying strategic initiatives, prioritization through road maps and supporting product and feature launches. Our products play a critical role in helping our members save, manage healthcare and retirement expenses.


    The Strategic Product Manager is the primary connection to true market needs. You will have a proven track record of successful strategic product management and staying ahead of market needs and demands. You will be passionate about understanding market drivers and proactive in gathering data to validate the existing and incremental market opportunities.



    What you’ll be doing


    • Gather feedback from internal and external constituents to understand our key market problems to be solved
    • Identify opportunities to further penetrate the market or grow HealthEquity’s product offering
    • Perform competitive analysis and market research
    • Conceptualize solutions that align with HQY strategy and provide outcome-driven solutions for clients
    • Validate concepts to ensure that the solution will solve the clients’ and member needs
    • Present business case and data to executive and cross functional teams
    • Participate in the product review board to provide input regarding product/market needs and to provide feedback regarding prioritization
    • Work with Product Owners and Scrum teams to ensure that what is delivered meets the product/market goals/needs
    • Perform sales training and enablement
    • Support Sales as a product subject matter expert
    • Grow revenue for product(s) and market(s)
    • Work with product marketing to document and develop roll-out schedules that ensure a successful launch of new products and features 


    What you will need to be successful


    • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
    • 5+ years of relatable professional experience
    • 3+ years leading developing and enhancing strategies
    • Proven track record of being able to efficiently and effectively gather, analyze, and validate market problems
    • Product Management experience working with Health Savings Accounts, or the Health Plan Provider space is desired.
    • Strong project management experience
    • Ability to influence and gather internal support cross functionally
    • Strong quantitative analytical ability
    • Superior communication skills both verbal and written
    • Overall passion to position HealthEquity competitively in the marketplace to drive business results
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and project team members to further the business objectives of our products and services
    • Understand agile software development process
    • Must be self-motivated and results oriented
    • Ability to travel several times a month for key stakeholder meetings
