    How you can make a difference


    The Fraud Operations Specialist researches and analyzes high risk transactions across all payment channels to identify possible cases of fraud. You will interact with internal and external customers and supervisors to recommend and perform appropriate actions required to mitigate losses and to provide a positive customer experience. You will document and evaluate results of actions to support fraud trending and reporting and ensures that best practices and adherence to fraud policies are followed.


    What you’ll be doing

    • Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers
    • Maintain thorough and accurate details in CX incidents
    • Identify fraud patterns and communicate observations to Manager
    • Maintain and update case management system for tracking of fraud cases and relevant information
    • Comply with all applicable federal regulations and fraud policies in decision process
    • Daily review of certain fraud reports and suspicious card activities
    • Make outbound calls to verify account activity with the member
    • Determine next action based on research results to mitigate fraud losses
    • Take prescribed action on customers account based on business rules for the given scenario
    • Assist with more complex assignments as requested
    • Critical thinker and ability to exercise independent judgment
    • Accuracy and attention to detail

    What you will need to be successful

    • 2 – 3 years interfacing with customers over the phone to handle inquiries, preferably in fraud servicing
    • Possess excellent analytical, written and oral communications skills
    • Proficient in MS Office Applications
