How you can make a difference



With general supervision and some review of work in progress, this position is responsible for ensuring that practices and business activities for the assigned area of responsibility fall within the organization’s legal posture as well as for preparing, examining, analyzing, and revising contracts.



What you’ll be doing


  • Provide contract summaries and ensure contract execution in accordance with contracting policy.
  • Examination of written agreements to ensure alignment to contract management and billing systems.
  • Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate employees regarding contract status and facilitate meetings.
  • Recommends and documents contract management process improvements based on interactions with users and process audits. 
  • Respond to questions from internal associates and sales relating to contracts.
  • Monitor all contract deadlines and conditions to ensure timelines are kept and all relevant payments or information has been met.
  • Support the Contracts Administration Supervisor and/or Manager with audits as it relates to internal and external audit, and SOX reporting




Preferred Locations: Draper, UT or Irving Texas; will also consider Remote.



What you will need to be successful



Knowledge of contracts administration or a closely related field as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor’s degree in Business or related major.


Work Experience or Related Experience:

  • The ability and skill to read and understand written agreements as described as normally obtained through a minimum 3-5 years’ experience in contract administration

Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • A strong understanding of basic contracting principles.
  • A strong hands-on knowledge of Apttus, Salesforce or any other CRM Contract Managment Software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures is also preferred.

  • A strong customer service orientation is essential. 

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to the changing demands of business is a must.


Proficiency with business and communications software (preferably Word, Excel, PowerPoint, common Windows operating systems, and Outlook) is required. A strong, hands-on knowledge of Apttus, Salesforce or any other CRM software is preferred

Work requires normal range of hearing and eyesight. Incumbent must be able to use a telephone or headset equipment and operate a keyboard and other office equipment. The ability to perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day and function in an environment with frequent interruptions is required.
