How you can make a difference

We work with our Enterprise clients to manage their Annual Enrollment projects. Every client has at least one Benefit Plan year whereas some have more than one. We ensure all necessary benefit and or premiums changes have been incorporated for their COBRA Benefits so their COBRA members receive accurate, complete, and timely Annual Enrollment packages so they can enroll and/or make necessary changes for the following year. In addition, this role will also support other type projects throughout the year, such as mergers, acquisitions or divestures or special projects as needed.


This position operates as a dedicated resource to our Service Delivery team to assist with Open Enrollment project documentation and support in projects of moderate to high complexity. If you are highly organized with an eye for detail and have the necessary communication and people skills to motivate others Projects typically have a focus on a specific business process or activity line and frequently work closely and support clients as well as external and internal customers to deliver projects against performance measures. Performance measures include Project tasks, timelines, deadlines. Performance measures may include scope, quality, and scheduling targets of projects managed by a Project Manager.  This role may exist in multiple areas within the organization.


What you’ll be doing

  • We manage Enterprise (large) Clients COBRA Benefits Annual Enrollment project.
  • Use tools provided to obtain necessary details of upcoming Open Enrollment changes
  • Monitoring the daily progress of client project tasks within timeline
  • Work plan year and coordination with internal and external partners
  • Providing detailed updates to clients or other stakeholders
  • We work with inbound and outbound file team (if applicable) to ensure systems are in sync.
  • Attend meetings related to projects, training etc.
  • Self-motivated, seeks out solutions and answers
  • Strong customer service focus, work ethic, and attention to detail in both quality and accuracy
  • Computer literacy required: Excel, Word, Adobe, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Webinar tools
  • Support internal projects as assigned


What you will need to be successful

  • COBRA and Health Benefit experience: Required understanding of COBRA and Active Health Benefits.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to work closely with Clients, team members and manager, and to effectively manage problems as they occur.
  • Leadership: As the primary point of contact for team members, you must be able to provide guidance, feedback, and encouragement for achieving goals.
  • Organization and time management: Managing the daily activities and needs of all projects requires an excellent ability to multitask and effectively manage your time.  
  • Computers and data entry: Experience with Salesforce case management system beneficial, CompLink and or CASPro system knowledge, Smart sheet experience, Microsoft systems.
  • Critical thinking: Analyzing and evaluating a situation critically helps prevent issues before they happen.
  • Problem-solving: Although project managers may step in to handle significant problems, you should be prepared to work through and resolve minor issues without assistance.
  • Positive attitude: Generally, a positive outlook makes it easier to handle the stress of unexpected challenges and helps the entire team stay positive and motivated
