How you can make a difference

 

The main role of the project manager is to ensure marketing requests are fulfilled as efficiently as possible. They coordinate and manage all requests made to or created by the marketing team. They use WorkFront to organize and track incoming projects from start to finish. They make sure projects flow through the production process smoothly. They make sure everyone is well-informed about timelines, goals and objectives and milestones. They are responsible for the ensuring that the goals of every project are met when it needs to be and resolving any conflict. They analyze and report. They help maintain file organization.

 

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Investigate incoming marketing requests daily. These requests may originate with marketing or other departments.
  • Lead discussions with requester, the program manager and creative to develop a project plan including scope, resources, prioritization and timelines. Ensure projects align with business goals and priorities.
  • Build the project plans into workfront and brief everyone involved.
  • Lead ongoing communication between requesters and marketing, communicate progress, updates and reviews. Provide regular updates.
  • Track projects through to completion. Update plan and timelines as necessary. Trouble shoot problems to ensure deliverables remain on schedule.
  • Manage workfront for marketing. Create and maintain SLA’s. Optimize processes.
  • Manage process and workflow of marketing projects. Consistently implement improvements.
  • Create and manage reports for marketing leadership and working teams. Analyze data to identify trends, solve problems and optimize productivity.
  • Help maintain and optimize file organization.

 

 

 

What you will need to be successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing or Business Administration is preferred
  • Experience in a project management role
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills are required. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required 
  • Experience with Workfront or other project management and/or traffic management platforms preferred 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills 
  • Possess a high level of energy, initiative, and ability to multi-task 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as expertise in tracking and disseminating information across multiple departments 
  • Demonstrate integrity, flexibility, and a strong work ethic 
  • Must be a team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proven work experience in influencing people especially in cross-collaborative efforts 
  • Ability to develop solutions to complex problems requiring the use of ingenuity and creativity 
  • A thirst to always challenge the status quo and find unique solutions to problems  
  • Creative thinker who can identify opportunities for optimization to help achieve goals   
  • Strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done   
  • A business & results-oriented mentality
