With general direction and considerable latitude for independent judgment and discretion, this position will lead a team of Workforce Analysts to ensure service levels are met while delivering outstanding service to internal customers. A successful candidate will be able to drive right behaviors to meet HealthEquity’s initiatives and overarching business commitments. Key responsibilities will include queue monitoring, attendance tracking, meeting service level agreements, and preparation of daily reports. The ideal candidate will be able to find creative solutions to support the service center and enable them to provide best in class service experience.


What you’ll be doing

  • Lead a team of Workforce Analysts to support all Member, Client, and Broker service centers in all locations, as well as other teams within the company, to achieve goals, optimize service outcomes, and adhere to budgets.
  • Review operations to ensure the optimum use of workforce management tools and technology, resources and business routines as established to ensure standardization and consistency. This may be accomplished through the identification and analysis of problems from root cause analysis through strategy development and execution.
  • Recommend ways to enhance and improve key metrics and efficiencies to the business.
  • Analyze and adjust staffing needs by monitoring activities and trends.
  • Develop and drive strategic initiatives to support and meet business goals.
  • Manage processing of time off requests including PTO and VTO across all Member, Client, and Broker service centers in all locations.
  • Solve complex problems/issues through extensive investigation and analysis.
  • Administer and maintain our workforce management system related to queue management.
  • Develop short and long-term objectives and plans for Workforce Management.
  • Create a positive work environment that fosters successful team performance and development.

What you will need to be successful

  • Knowledge of workforce management, or a closely related field as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor’s degree
  • The ability and skill to create effective staffing for the service center as normally obtained through a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Workforce Management with specific experience in queue management. Experience should include current knowledge of service center best practices. Experience in Workforce Management software is preferred
  • Tolerance for repetitive work

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure time sensitive deadline driven environment.
