How you can make a difference


The ideal candidate will have experience managing and optimizing a multi-channel member engagement program. It is expected that the candidate will become an expert in the Consumer-Directed Benefits landscape and the HealthEquity member journey as they support member acquisition, retention and expansion activities. The candidate will assist the marketing leadership team in delivering growth through greater account adoption as well as increased account life-time value.


What you’ll be doing 

  • Strategize, develop, and optimize a broad range of highly visible, multi-channel marketing and engagement campaigns and programs to acquire new members, expand and retain the installed base, and increase member life-time value
  • Provide internal expertise on member engagement initiatives to Engagement Services, Engagement Consultants and other client-facing teams
  • Manage external agency relationships and internal resources to ensure programs, content and collateral generate top performance against business goals for all member engagement programs, including Open Enrollment and lifecycle journeys
  • Analyze customer behavior and analytics on member engagement to develop optimization and test plans that generate incremental improvement
  • Implement audience segmentation strategies and create test plans for targeted content and creative assets
  • Develop and maintain formal testing and optimization frameworks and methodologies, and foster an environment that encourages strategic innovation
  • Serve as an industry leader through demonstrated innovation and expertise


What you will need to be successful

  • Knowledge of marketing/advertising or a closely related field as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor’s degree in in marketing, communications, statistics, mathematics, economics, or other related fields
  • Must have 5-7 years of performance marketing experience, preferably focused in B2C customer engagement efforts
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Strategic Planning, Finance, Economics, or other related field is required
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, CRM and consumer segmentation
  • Expertise in campaign optimization, behavioral analysis, and performance metrics
  • Understanding of marketing functional disciplines
  • Demonstrated commitment to education and engagement of members and CDH principles
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation, and spoken formats to a variety of audiences
  • Proven ability to work with sales and marketing teams
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, tenacious self-starter and team player
  • Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous projects/deliverables to successful completion
