How you can make a difference

This senior position is responsible for design, configuration, and just-in-time administration of corporate cloud-based applications at HealthEquity. Working collaboratively across internal departments and stakeholders such as Member Services, Client Services, Sales, Professional Services, Legal, Finance and Operations, this position will develop and document business processes and application system requirements. In addition, the incumbent will configure and test the applications to ensure the system meets the requirements and enables the business process, and will lead projects and other team members in enhancing and rolling out new functionality or introducing new user groups to the application.

 

What you’ll be doing

  1. Works with IT management and other application engineers to ensure that integration between on-premise and cloud systems, applications and services facilitates the secure and efficient functionality of our platforms
  2. Provides regular detailed reports on the overall state of the cloud applications and services within the company including security vulnerabilities, disaster recovery options, and enhancement opportunities.
  3. Responsible for the monitoring, evaluating, and communication during outages with our cloud-based applications including working with the various support departments on failover procedures and disaster recovery methods.
  4. Responsible for ensuring the configuration and security posture of cloud-based application meet or exceed industry standards.
  5. Collaborates with IT management to anticipate future requirement for the teammates as needs are dictated by growth or changes within the company and implements or improves cloud-based solutions to meet the needs of the business
  6. Supports the adoption, development, and usage of cloud-based applications throughout the organization. Maintains a high level of awareness and enthusiasm of new features and updates as they are launched.
  7. As identified by business requirements, this position is responsible for identifying and migrating or replicating on-premise functionality to the cloud as it aligns with the corporate and departmental goals for redundancy and business continuity.
  8. Serves as liaison between corporate business units such as the Corporate Applications and Product Development teams to develop streamlined collaborative solutions to improve efficiency within the workforce
  9. Provides regular updates on future enhancements to IT leadership to drive innovation within the application environment as part of promoting a cloud first initiative.
  10. Makes suggestions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of procedures, processes, and tools where appropriate. This includes providing support to the development and periodic revision of procedures to ensure control and quality within the operations process.
  11. Performs special projects or needs analysis as requested or directed.
  12. Performs other duties as assigned or apparent

 

What you will need to be successful

EDUCATION:

Expert knowledge and understanding of business and technology as normally obtained through the completion of a

bachelor’s degree in a business or technology related major or equivalent experience. Exposure to various development

languages and formal project management practices, theories, and processes is also preferred, but not required.

 

WORK EXPERIENCE OR RELATED EXPERIENCE:

The ability and skill to provide troubleshooting and resolution for various systems as described, as normally obtained through a minimum of 8 years of experience in an enterprise level cloud application support role with specific experience in Microsoft 365/Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Windows Server 2008-2019, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Azure. Experience should include cloud-based conditional access security configurations, DLP, ticketing systems, and on-premise to web-based migrations as well as enterprise level database-driven applications and single-sign on authentication. Microsoft technical certifications are preferred. PowerShell experience is required. Experience in geo diverse working environments, mergers, and acquisitions, are a plus.

 

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • A strong customer service orientation is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to the changing demands of business is a must.
  • Good communication, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Good organizational and time management skills are required.
  • The ability to perform work with little direction and work on multiple projects simultaneously is a must.
  • A demonstrated ability to resolve process/systems issues through the identification and analysis of problems from root cause to strategy development and execution is necessary.

 

EQUIPMENT:

Proficiency with business and communication software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, common Windows operating systems, and Outlook) is required along with an in-depth knowledge of the access configurations of Azure Active Directory and all Microsoft 365 applications. An expert level of hands-on knowledge across various web-based applications is a must.
