How you can make a difference   

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Architect to join our team. This position works closely with Engineering, UX, Product and Architecture to lead the design and implementation of enterprise web applications.  

What you’ll be doing  

• Own the architectural decisions around code organization, tooling, and processes for frontend application development 
• Manage the lifecycle of frontend frameworks, libraries, and tooling  

• Work closely with engineering teams to implement software features  
• Define, document, and communicate the strategy and roadmap for modernizing existing web applications 
• Collaborate with engineering teams, leaders, UX, and product to champion best practices and communicate architectural vision 
• Mentor and coach other engineers to create a culture of software excellence 

What you will need to be successful 

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience 
• 10+ years of experience working as a software engineer with a focus on frontend development  
• 5+ years in a tech-lead or architect capacity designing and implementing enterprise web applications 
• Deep knowledge of frontend technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS/SASS, HTML, SPAs, Responsive Layout, Reactive Programming 
• Deep knowledge and application of software design principles and patterns 

• Experience writing software in a .NET environment using C#, ASP.NET, Razor/Blazor, Typescript, Angular and ReactJS 
• Experience optimizing the performance of web based applications 
• Experience with templating systems such as AngularCLI, NX templates, Swagger. 
• Experience designing Azure Cloud applications working with APIs in a microservice environment 
• Experience designing for security and compliance including Authentication, Authorization, RBAC, CORS, 508 Compliance, and web application security risks e.g., OWASP 

• Experience working with relational and document data storage solutions; Preference for Microsoft SQL and MongoDB 
• Experience working in event driven systems. Preference for NServiceBus, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Event Grid 
• Ability to coach and mentor others across multiple teams 
• Effective communication and presentation skills
