Hours:                                                    Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Summary of Duties:

• Design, develop and deliver high-quality software solutions at a specialist level within one or more business domains.
• Analyze and select appropriate technology that meets user needs while being scalable, efficient, and secure.
• Evaluate software vendors and make recommendations as necessary.
• Write and implement efficient code that meets business requirements, while adhering to company, compliance, and security standards.
• Mentor Software Engineers through design reviews, code reviews, coaching, and training opportunities.
• Serve as a lead technical contributor to the efforts of software development teams, including complex project work that involves multiple internal and external team members.
• Understand and utilize agile best practices, with a “shift-left” testing approach, Trouble-shoot, debug and provide root cause analysis to the team
• Determine and lead process improvements.
• Deliver solutions in a collaborative, agile environment and share solutions with team members.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Information System Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study; and 2 years in the job offered or any related occupation in which the experience was gained. Employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in Information System Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study; and 5 years in the job offered or any related occupation in which the experience was gained.

Applicants must also have demonstrated experience with:  

• Distributed systems moving on-prem solutions to native cloud based Azure applications
• Distributed systems coding in .net core framework
• Rabbit MQ and Azure Service Bus
• Building scalable performance solutions using Kubernetes, Redis, Memcache, C#, .Net, and Azure
• Building scalable performance solutions that convert monolith to microservices technologies using RestAPI, Nservicebus, and Microsoft Azure
• Data processing and databases
• C# and SQL
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or Open API/Swagger

The compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum base pay range for this position. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
