HealthEquity is hiring! Come join us as a Security Analyst in our Identity and Access Management Security Team.

As a Security Analyst within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Access Operations team you will be responsible for access administration across a variety of systems, platforms, and applications within the HealthEquity environment. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for fulfilling requests for privileged and non-privileged access for human and non-human identities. As a member of the Access Operations team, you will be expected to manage assigned work efficiently and follow detailed procedures to ensure the correct access is granted, changed, or revoked in alignment with predefined application level and functional roles. This team member must feel comfortable utilizing documentation, navigating ambiguous situations, and partnering with other members of the Access Operations team to drive successful resolutions. The team member is expected to understand IAM foundational elements and supporting technology such as SailPoint and BeyondTrust. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, interaction with internal resources, as well as collaboration with a dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a drive to increase their IAM knowledge, self-manage priorities with the support of their leaders and teammates, and understand the importance of their role in enabling the HealthEquity workforce with the right access at the right time support the business deliver a positive client experience.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Access Administration:
  • Provision, deprovision, and change privileged and non-privileged access within a variety of platforms, systems, and applications.
  • Follow standard operating procedures associated with centralized access processes maintained by IAM Access Operations.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting access issues, determining root cause, and providing guidance to resolution.
  • Partner with IAM team members to gain an in-depth understanding of applications transitioning to IAM for administration and control management. The activities require learning new administration processes, approval levels, building working knowledge of how the new application is designed, and understanding associated risks with various levels of access.
  • Partner with leadership and SMEs to request guidance in ambiguous situations.
  • Support escalations when directed due to a shift in prioritization of an immediate business need.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures versus make judgement-based decisions.
  • Comply with and support IT General Controls.
  • Establish a strong understanding of the IAM organization and partner across teams to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, or cause risk and require remediation.
  • Support specific projects associated with large resource onboarding efforts.
  • Communicate effectively within the IAM Organization and with requestors.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, propose solutions, and share feedback with SMEs and leadership.
  • Contribute to a balanced security-first and customer service culture.
  • Participate in the team on-call rotation.

What you will need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Active Directory and Entra ID
  • Experience with IAM tools such as SailPoint IdentityNow, NERM, BeyondTust, etc.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • PowerShell / Python / macro scripting a plus
  • Identify issues, risks, and procedural irregularities, collect data, engage others for support.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent years' related experience

This is an hourly/non-exempt position: At this time we are unable to hire hourly roles within the following areas: Alaska, California, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon & Rhode Island.

Salary Range

$33.65 To $50.24 / hour
