The Scrum Master is responsible for guiding and coaching the IT Architecture teammates in the effective application of Scrum principles and practices. They act as a facilitator, ensuring that the team adheres to Agile methodologies and removes any obstacles that may impede progress, ensuring that architectural decisions align with the organization’s strategic goals and technical standards. This role involves fostering a collaborative environment in a fast-paced setting.  

 

What you’ll be doing 

 

  • Facilitate Scrum Events: Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives specifically tailored to architectural tasks and goals. Establish Agile methodology within IT Architecture. 
  • Coach and Mentor: Bring your experience around the tooling and process involved for a successful outcome,  
  • Support Architectural Planning: Assist in the creation and maintenance of the architectural roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards. 
  • Remove Impediments: Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder the architecture team’s progress, including technical challenges and resource constraints. 
  • Monitor Progress: Track and report on the team’s performance metrics, such as sprint velocity and completion rates of architectural tasks. 
  • Ensure Quality: Ensure that architectural deliverables meet the required quality standards and are completed on time. 
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the architecture team and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on architectural decisions. 
  • Adapt to Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment by quickly adapting to changes and ensuring the team remains productive and focused. 
  • Utilization of ADO and other Microsoft tools: Implement and manage Azure DevOps tools to streamline workflow and improve task tracking. 

 

What you will need to be successful

 

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within an IT architecture or enterprise environment. 
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile frameworks, and enterprise architecture principles.  
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. 
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and implement solutions to improve team performance. 
  • Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification is preferred.

Salary Range

$79500.00 To $130,000.00 / year

The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
