Join HealthEquity in empowering healthcare consumers as our Principal Business Analyst specializing in Reimbursement Accounts (RAs). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of RAs, regulatory compliance, and data analysis. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, and system integration to drive strategic initiatives and optimize our consumer benefit programs.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

Reimbursement Accounts (RAs):

  • Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of RA systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, (e.g. ERISA).
  • Develop strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of RA programs.

System Design:

  • Design, deploy and manage database ETL processes. 
  • Manage the client intake requests and build into ad-hoc requests.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis based on output to business to address short term/long term concerns.
  • Collaborate with other teams to incorporate model’s outputs into downstream process.
  • Control quality of work flow and document the process.

Data Analysis:

  • Enhance the accuracy of model outputs to optimize operational performance and achieve financial targets.
  • Oversee database development and modification efforts.
  • Gather, organize, and interpret statistical data and provide reports.
  • Perform data analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor HRA program performance.
  • Strategize and identify trends and insights to drive continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams, managing multiple priorities, and deadlines, independently and in groups.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of business objectives.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on RA systems and processes.

What you will need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business analysis, system design, and database structures.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to healthcare financial accounts (e.g. HSA, HRA, and FSA)
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
  • Figma experience and ability to create models
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, SAFE, and project management tools.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions (Azure)
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects.

Salary Range

$99,500.00 - $130,000.00 / year

The compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum base pay range for this position. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
