The Sr. UX Content Strategist plays a crucial role in connecting functional product design with the emotional aspects of the user experience. By utilizing behavioral psychology, user experience (UX) design, and content strategy, this role focuses on creating engaging digital journeys that address specific user engagement challenges. The strategist seeks to understand user motivations, emotions, and intent by employing psychological triggers, personalized content, and intuitive design to create interactions that form habits and sustain user engagement.

 

This role ensures that content and engagement strategies are seamlessly incorporated into the design process, facilitating immediate and long-term user interaction across products. The UX Content Strategist aligns business objectives with user-centered strategy through close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Apply behavioral psychology principles to design features that encourage user engagement. Utilize triggers, variable rewards, and feedback loops to foster regular use and reinforce positive behaviors.
  • Conduct user research to understand cognitive processes, emotions, and motivations. Use insights to tailor engagement strategies that resonate with user needs and improve the overall experience.
  • Create and refine strategies for driving long-term user interaction and retention. Implement gamification, habit-forming techniques, and personalized content to consistently engage users.
  • Develop content and design that emotionally connect with users, creating memorable and rewarding experiences. Focus on fostering loyalty through personalized interactions that speak to the user's intent and desires.
  • Regularly analyze engagement metrics, such as session duration, churn, and click-through rates. Use A/B testing and other proven methods to refine engagement strategies and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Work cross-functionally with product teams, UX designers, and data scientists to integrate engagement strategies into product features and ensure user experiences align with business objectives.
  • Create engaging and motivational copy that guides users through their journeys. Ensure that messaging aligns with the overall engagement strategy and motivates users to take action.
  • Design and conduct user research, including both qualitative and quantitative methods, to understand user behavior and preferences. Use research findings to inform and adjust engagement strategies.
  • Run experiments and employ rapid iteration to test and optimize features, content, and engagement approaches.

 

What you will need to be successful

  • 6+ years of relatable UX content strategy experience
  • Strong understanding of behavioral psychology and cognitive science, with the ability to apply these principles to product design and user engagement.
  • Proven experience designing user experiences that drive engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Knowledge of habit-forming techniques and user-centered design practices.
  • Familiarity with gamification techniques and their application to enhance user motivation and engagement
  • Proficiency in developing and executing content strategies that motivate and engage users through personalized and dynamic content.
  • Experience building engagement content in healthcare, retail, and finance.
  • Ability to analyze user engagement metrics and translate these findings into actionable strategies to improve user engagement.
  • Experience with behavior analytics tools, as well as conducting both qualitative and quantitative research to inform engagement strategies and measure outcomes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate engagement strategies and drive stakeholder collaboration.

Salary Range

$99500.00 To $159500.00 / year

The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
