Overview

What you’ll be doing  

 

The core responsibilities of this position are to provide sales and distribution support to HealthEquity’s current health plan partners and large employers including sales presentations, trainings, and support. Additionally, this role will be responsible for direct sales and support for the middle market and large group (250-3,500 employees) sales in a defined region inclusive of prospect identification, pipeline development and contract closing. HealthEquity’s Regional Sales Executive will be responsible for driving growth by working with employee benefit agencies/brokers, health plan partners, TPA partners within the Texas and Oklahoma regions. Applicants must reside or be willing to relocate to Texas.

 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Knowledge around Consumer Directed Healthcare (CDH) accounts such as Health Savings Account (HSA), COBRA, Wellness Products and the internal processes that HealthEquity uses to administer the various accounts
  • Train our partner’s sales and account management personnel on the HealthEquity solutions
  • Assist in creating support materials our partners can use to present solutions to the market
  • Plan and participate broker seminars with our partners that may include CE credits
  • Maintain CE accredited presentations for the states in region.
  • Visit key brokers with directly and with health plan sales rep to explain joint CDH solution
  • Identify and maintain key relationship with the top broker/benefit consultants in each geographic region (independent of our health plan partners).
  • Participate in sales meetings with our health plan partners as the Subject Matter Expert on CDH
  • As appropriate, attend open enrollment meetings
  • Attend Conferences and Seminars to promote our products and services

  

What you will need to be successful

  • 5+ years of sales, account management and/or business development experience within broker or health plan industry
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Documented history of sales and/or account management success over the phone and face to face
  • Health, group life, disability or ancillary insurance products sales experience strongly preferred
  • Relationships with brokers and general managing agents in Texas is preferred
  • CDHP and HSA knowledge and experience preferred
  • Student of the industry and strong desire for ongoing learning
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills, i.e. working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach and/or Gong
  • Requires up to 50% travel, occasionally with short notice

Salary Range

$79500.00 To $95000.00 / year

The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. This position is also eligible for additional annual sales incentive commissions, and details regarding these additional sales incentive commissions will be provided after hire.
