Job Summary:
The Identity Sr Business Analyst is responsible for gathering business information and molding it into actionable decisions for Product. This role supports our Identity SCRUM teams by interpreting information to then be translated into detailed business requirements or leveraged for process improvements. The position is heavily focused on the Identity domain—authentication, authorization, and backend login functionalities—and includes participation in projects such as passkey implementation and ongoing identity initiatives.
Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with Product Owners and cross-functional teams on requirements, prioritization, and delivery.
Participate in SCRUM cadence meetings to support delivery and alignment with acceptance criteria.
Define, document, and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) and end-to-end (E2E) testing, identifying and triaging defects.
Coordinate with technology and client services to resolve issues, communicate updates, and maintain stakeholder alignment.
Support operational and market release readiness activities, process development, and service delivery.
Identify and document system deficiencies, recommend solutions, and support monitoring of customer-impacting issues.
Lead initiative-level discovery efforts and GAP analysis.
Define and track success measurements, contributing to solution use case development
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, statistics, finance, accounting, or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred.
5+ years of experience in:
Engaging and communicating with stakeholders.
Eliciting and writing business requirements.
Writing software solution documentation.
Managing production defects and supporting resolution.
Defining, building, and executing UAT/E2E test cases.
Domain knowledge in Identity (authentication, authorization, access management) is highly desired.
Healthcare financial accounts (HSA, HRA, FSA) and insurance knowledge preferred.
Proven ability to drive operational strategy through identifying risks/opportunities and supporting mitigation/solutions.
Ability to organize and lead Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions with stakeholders.
Experience building and interpreting software solution diagrams (UML, use case/activity, swim-lane sequence).
Ability to translate complex software solutions into business-friendly process flows.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to consult with users and present their needs.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively, balancing changing priorities and deadlines.
Skilled in researching defect root causes, establishing workarounds, and coordinating resolution.
