HealthEquity’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Team leads delivery of the firm’s ERM Program, which works with teams firmwide, to manage (i.e., identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor) significant risks facing HealthEquity.  ERM sits alongside Compliance. The two comprise HealthEquity’s second line of defense.  The ERM Team is looking to hire a Risk Analytics Manager to play a key role in executing the enterprise risk program. The Risk Analytics Sr Analyst / Manager will focus on producing high-quality reporting and dashboards, defining and monitoring risk metrics, maintaining the ERM data and reporting stack, and managing quantitative risk models. The ideal candidate has a strong background in programming, data interpretation, risk modeling, with the ability to translate complex analyses into concise and actionable insights.

 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Develop, maintain, and automate regular risk reporting
  • Create and enhance interactive dashboards using business intelligence (BI) tools
  • Build efficient and reusable data pipelines and processes;
  • Support the maintenance of the ERM data and reporting stack, including data pipelines, model repositories, and reporting automation tools, and the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool
  • Ensure the integrity and quality of data used in risk reporting and modeling through regular data validation and process monitoring
  • Develop and maintain quantitative risk models to measure, predict, and forecast various risk types (e.g., credit, market, and operational risk)
  • Support stress testing and scenario analysis to assess impact under various economic and credit conditions
  • Leverage cash flow data, credit bureau information, and other data sources for risk model development
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to evaluate and enhance existing risk models
  • Ensure rigorous documentation of model methodology, code, and reporting processes

What you will need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field  
  • 5+ years of equivalent work experience in quantitative risk, data analytics, finance, or similar role
  • Strong proficiency with SQL, Excel and Python for data extraction, analysis, and modeling
  • Strong proficiency with reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Experience building data pipelines
  • Strong business sense, analytical skills, and experience coordinating or managing projects  
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple competing deadlines  
  • Attention to detail  
  • Ability to work with individuals from all levels of the firm, from junior staff to executive leadership  
  • Strong writing skills  
  • Strong speaking skills

Salary Range

$96,500.00 To $135,000.00 / year
