The Senior Manager of Client Integration Solutions (CIS) is responsible for providing leadership oversight and mentorship for teams of individuals responsible for implementationintegration and maintenance of HealthEquity products, services and integrated solutions. This role determines short and long-term goals for the respective teams. Navigates highly complex organizational or client scenarios and drives resolution on behalf of CIS. Mentors and builds the skill set of leaders and team members in CIS, supports and encourages leaders and team members to build an engaging work environment for their teams. This role works collaboratively with internal partners to identify areas of efficiency and make changes that support better throughput, leads or plays a key role in organizational projects, guides leaders through complex challenges with internal and/or external customers to drive resolution, and drives business needs with executive leadership. This role will assist with establishing short and mid-term business unit goals. This role is also responsible for direct leadership of leaders and/or team members. 

 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Manages and carries out the personnel actions for direct reports, including but not limited to hiring and scheduling; training and evaluating; coaching and managing performance; making salary, merit, or other compensation recommendations for team of direct reports; and making recommendations and/or taking corrective or disciplinary action as appropriate.  
  • Provide senior leadership oversight for   CIS teamsMaintain full accountability for the performance of the team; this includes preparing and setting short, mid-term and annual goals as aligned with department and corporate targets/goals.  
  • Manage procedures, policies or methodologies for the respective teams and ensure cost containment. 
  • Mentor and guide leaders and team members to successfully execute job responsibilities and provide opportunities for professional growth; provide constructiveclear and transparent feedback. 
  • Manage and oversee the activities of leaders and team members to ensure that projects remain on track and aligned with organizational objectives; this includes schedules, budgets, key project objectives, teams and individual capacity and project methodology. 
  • Consistently monitor and assess metrics and operational performance to ensure optimal efficiency for the respective teams and take action to redirect activities as appropriate and by adjusting and flexing resources as needed.  
  • Review reports, risk assessments, executive summaries and business plans to identify areas of improvement; directly lead or assign oversight responsibilities to act on identified initiatives. 
  • Review client/partner feedback to help provide team and/or individual guidance. 
  • Establish effective communication with leaders and executives across technical and non-technical departments to identify key plan tasks, risks, issues and due dates. 
  • Collaborate with leaders and peers to define strategic direction and elements of tactical execution for CIS. 
  • Provide strategic ideas and identify tactics to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction not only for Client Integration Solutions teams but for the broader HQY organization as a whole. 
  • Assist senior leadership with special projects.
  • Support senior leadership to help ensure defined strategic directions are being executed. 
  • The ability to have flexible working hours is essential. 
  • Ability to identify and delegate tasks as appropriate to individual contributors. 

 

What you will need to be successful

Education and Experience: 

  • Experience of 10+ years in the benefits or financial services industries and/or 4+ years as a Manager, or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of business and technology as normally obtained through the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technology related major, or equivalent work experience. 
  • Master’s Degree preferred. 
  • Education or training in project management and/or operational practices, theories, and processes. 

 

Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Manage multiple responsibilities and quickly adapt/shift to changing priorities. 
  • Planorganize, and manage multiple projects in a professional manner is essential. 
  • Superb attention to detailThe ability to define problems, collect dataestablish facts to help provide resolution for escalated client/partner and system issues. 
  • Maintains the highest-level of communication skills, both verbal and written, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent understanding of the   requirements of implementation projects including system scope and project objectives. 
  • Proven leadership skills, a high degree of organizational skill and the demonstrated ability to effectively lead, influence, plan and manage oversight of multiple projects. 
  • Proven written presentation and verbal communication skills are required. 
  • Strong application knowledge and understanding of company programs, services and products. 
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of all business operations and an aptitude for systems and technical capabilities. 
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Salary Range

$99500.00 To $121300.00 / year
