Overview

How you can make a difference  

This position is responsible for leading a team of highly skilled professionals. The Public Sector team is responsible for the day to day relationship, and companywide operational oversight of our client groups. The Manager, Account Management is responsible for execution of department level strategy, including participating in the development of the strategy. The responsibilities will include developing team members to meet client’s needs effectively and efficiently and to act as an escalation point to quickly resolve escalated issues. This position will be an advocate within HealthEquity for their team and their clients to ensure team and client needs and requests are heard. The Manager, Account Management will lead out on department initiatives in support of other Account Managers and lead a group of Account Coordinators.

 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Responsible for the day to day relationship, and companywide operational oversight of our managed client groups. 
  • This role is responsible for execution of department level strategy.
  • The responsibilities will include developing team members to effectively and efficiently meet their client's needs and to act as an escalation point to quickly resolve escalated issues.
  • This position will be an advocate within HealthEquity for their team and their clients to ensure team and client needs and requests are heard. Hire team members, capable of exceptional relationship building, problem solving service delivery, and appropriate escalation management
  • Lead, coach and develop team members, setting goals and evaluating performance
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and address challenges/escalations
  • Identity, track and report key performance indicators

 

 What you will need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience - 5+ years
  • Experience working with health plans or within the health benefits/health account industry with preference to experience with Public Sector - 5+years
  • Project management skills - 3+ years preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Self-starter and self-motivated
  • Ability to effectively hold difficult conversations with team members and clients
  • Ability to train, coach and develop team members
  • Ability to lead team members working remote

Salary Range

$83500.00 To $112000.00 / year

Onboarding & Travel

This is a remote role, with an in-person onboarding training component. New team members must participate in Trailhead, HealthEquity’s immersive onboarding experience Trailhead is designed to foster meaningful connections, support your integration into the organization, and equip you with a strong understanding of our business. Trailhead participation is a key expectation of this role. Trailhead is held onsite at our headquarters once per quarter. HealthEquity covers all required travel and accommodations. 

 

This role may begin with a virtual, self-paced onboarding experience, followed by a mandatory onsite Trailhead session at a later date.
